Dispatch from Holbrook

Lisa and I are about to leave the bustling metropolis of Holbrook, seen above from our motel window. We are going to visit the Painted Desert, Canyon de Chelly, and Monument Valley. These parts of the US are in Navajo country and, as a result, cell phone and Internet providers can't be bothered providing decent access there. So, the blog may go quiet for a day or two.
